What the Texas Rising Star QRIS can tell us about quality child care interactions

In Texas, the quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) for early childhood programs is called Texas Rising Star (TRS). The most recent comprehensive review of TRS, conducted in 2021, called for a greater emphasis to be placed on caregiver-child interactions. Throughout the state, LENA Grow is helping professional caregivers meet this call to action.
